According to an email from Ron Cole, Youngstown State University’s public information officer, a construction worker was injured today in an accident inside the Fifth Avenue parking deck on campus.
“The worker, employed by a private contractor, was taken to St. Elizabeth’s Health Center,” Cole said.
He said the worker is in stable condition.
“Work on the deck has been suspended for the remainder of the day and is expected to resume on Wednesday,” Cole said.
