Look for Circles Day: 22 Circles at YSU

By Scott Brindiar

As you probably know, everybody’s favorite holiday has come and gone. November 2 was Look For Circles Day — rejoice! — so we went all over campus trying to spot YSU’s circles. Here’s what we found:

1.

This circle that a creepy old man is probably looking at you through.

2.

This rusty gas line.

3.

This circle that’s trying to keep the environment clean.

4.

This circular table in front of a circular fountain.

5.

Howard W. Jones standing inside a circle.

6.

7.

This circle invading the landscape.

8.

These two-for-one circles on a bicycle.

9.

All of the circles that make up the “Inner Circles” sculpture.

10.

This circle that you’ve always wanted to take for a joyride.

11.

This mysterious wall of circles (seriously, what is this?).

12.

This circle that hates all your vices (why do you hate donuts, circle?).

13.

This square that got confused about its shape.

14.

These circles that are keeping trespassers out.

15.

This circle that reminds us that we could go for some wings.

16.

This circle that needs help.

17.

This circle that just wants to see you succeed.

18.

This circle that you probably shouldn’t mess with.

19.

This futuristic circle board.

20.

Circle-ception.

21.

This alarm that you do not want to sound.

22.

Is not this octagon really just a circle with rough edges — aren’t we all really?
