Singer-songwriter Anya Antonavich brings her bubblegrunge project, Anya Van Rose, to Federal Frenzy’s The Summit FM Stage. The Canton native rocks the stage at 8 p.m. for a 45 minute set.

Her band’s current iteration features drummer Austin Popovich, guitarist Devin Johnson and bassist Kevin McManus. Over the years, Antonavich said she watched her friends perform at Federal Frenzy and is excited to have the opportunity to play at the event.

“To be on The Summit Stage is extra meaningful since they’ve been such a big part of my project and supporting it, so I love being able to represent on The Summit Stage and to be playing Federal Frenzy for the first time,” Antonavich said.

Anya Van Rose partnered with the Canton Symphony Orchestra in 2023 for its Divergent Sounds concert series. She said playing her music live with a full orchestra was a musical highlight.

“It totally shifted the way I thought about my music. It felt like a dream come true for me and to partner with the Canton Symphony was not something I ever thought would be possible,” Antonavich said.

In the same year, Anya Van Rose released its debut full-length LP, “Lucky Stars.” The band’s track “Pretty Please,” is its most listened to song with over 14,000 streams on Spotify

After Federal Frenzy, Anya Van Rose will perform May 15 alongside Lady Pills and Clare Feorene at Mahall’s in Lakewood.
