10 Date Ideas for Fall

Fall is filled with multiple things to do throughout the season, especially during October when everyone is celebrating Halloween. There are ideas for dates advertised everywhere. Here in Youngstown, the opportunity for date nights during this season are common. Here are 10 date ideas for fall.

  1. Haunted House

The Youngstown area is crawling with haunted houses. Some in the area are Fear Forest in Lordstown, The ExFearience at the Eastwood Field in Niles and The Canfield Scareground’s Blood Moon Farm in Canfield.

  1. White House Fruit Farms

White House Fruit Farms is located in Canfield. Whitehouse offers many things to do, such as a riding horse-drawn hay ride through the apple orchard, shopping for fall crafts and pumpkins, sampling fresh fruit and eating their famous blueberry donuts.

  1. Pumpkin Patch

Another date idea is to visit a pumpkin patch. Together, you can pick out pumpkins to decorate your home with or to carve.

  1. Apple Picking

Apple orchards are another option for a date night. Visit one and pick apples with your special someone or even just take a walk or hayride through one.

  1. Pumpkin Carving

After buying pumpkins, sit down together and carve them for another date idea. This takes about an hour to do per pumpkin. After carving, you can cook the seeds to make a yummy snack to share with your sweetie.

  1. Scary Movie Night

Pull out or rent a scary Halloween themed movie for a cheap and relaxing date night. Some examples are “Halloween,” “Friday the 13th” and “Scream.”

  1. Classic Movie Night

This is the same idea as scary movie night. Classic Halloween movies to watch are “Hocus Pocus” or “Halloween Town.”

  1. Hayride

Haunted or not, hayrides are a great date idea.

  1. Football Game

It’s football season! There are plenty of football games. Go to your old high school and enjoy a high school game under the Friday night lights or watch an NFL game together either live or on TV.

  1. Corn Maze

Corn mazes are found all over the area. There are some places nearby that offer haunted corn mazes as well.
